Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Manager to implement and oversee a comprehensive QC program on construction projects. You will ensure workmanship and regulatory compliance across all activities, leading on-site QC efforts from start to finish.

The role requires a strong background in QA/QC, multi-disciplinary coordination, and fluent English communication. On-site presence throughout contract performance is essential to achieving high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management or equivalent.
10+ years in construction, with 5+ years in quality control on similar projects.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and inspection techniques.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to lead on-site teams and coordinate multidisciplinary groups.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage the project’s Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with contract requirements.
Oversee inspections and testing activities to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and codes.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with project management, engineering, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues promptly.
Ensure all materials and workmanship conform to contract standards before acceptance.
Conduct daily site inspections and document findings to support continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary on-site representative for all quality control matters throughout project execution.
Ensure QC staff are fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in English.
QC on-site presence required during all contract phases until completion and acceptance.
