Job summary

Concrete Strategies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to oversee QC activities across the regional business unit.

Responsibilities include contract interpretation, pre-construction reviews, mix-design review, safety and quality compliance, and coordination with project teams and general contractors. The role requires 5+ years in concrete construction, strong technical knowledge, and leadership abilities to drive quality improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with concrete construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices.
• Strong knowledge of concrete production, testing and placement practices.
• Experience leading successful project teams and maintaining relationships with external entities.
• Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Contract/Scope/Specification review and interpretation
• Pre-construction specification review
• Pre-construction mix design review with Corporate Quality Director and specialists
• Project safety compliance
• Regional project quality compliance
• Periodic project visits and quality compliance reviews
• Develop solutions to quality issues with project teams
• Coordinate with GC/Owner as needed
• Coordinate with CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resources
• Support and manage project quality staff within assigned region
