CANDIDATES MUST WORK ON OUR W2 ONLY. PLEASE NO CORP TO CORP. WE ARE UNABLE TO SPONSOR AT THIS TIME.

Must be very strong QA Lead or QA Manager or Testing PM. Will need to jump in to lead team so must have strong hands on testing background. Ideally someone who started as a Tester and has moved into a leadership role.

Combo of manual/ automation experience required. Tosca experience preferred, other automation tools will be considered.

The Portfolio QA Lead provides consistent testing governance and quality oversight across every Digital project within an assigned portfolio. This role owns the execution of the Enterprise Testing Gates and ensures testing standards are applied uniformly regardless of which team or vendor delivers the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the five Enterprise Testing Gates for all Project Testing Leads within the assigned portfolio.
• Provide a single, consistent governance point across every project in the portfolio.
• Keep gate decisions independent of day-to-day project test execution and prevent self-certification; where the Portfolio QA Lead also serves as Project Testing Lead, an Ameren Coworker Testing Lead executes the gates instead.
• Confirm requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria are ready to support testing at the Test Readiness Assessment.
• Verify the solution design supports functional, integration, performance, security, and resiliency testing.
• Confirm automation and long-term regression readiness before Build completes.
• Validate environments, data, integrations, and test assets prior to SIT entry.
• Assess testing completion, defect status, and deployment readiness prior to go-live.
• Ensure ETS Standards are adopted on all portfolio projects above the small project threshold.
• Mentor, onboard, and support Project Testing Leads across the portfolio.
• Drive adoption of ETS dashboards and reporting to give leadership portfolio-level quality visibility.
• Identify where test automation and performance testing should be leveraged across the portfolio.
• Escalate cross-project testing risks, issues, and resource needs to ETS leadership.
