Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking a Lead QA Tester to oversee quality assurance for multiple workstreams, including EECM and FM, ensuring alignment with the IES testing strategy and QA processes. You will lead the QA team, coordinate with stakeholders, and review vendor deliverables to guarantee proper system testing and timely delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in QA leadership, test planning, and automated testing tools, with on-site work at Pearl St, 4th Floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a leadership role as a Tester Level III
• 7+ years of experience in QA on complex projects with multiple high-profile domains in a matrix organization
• 7+ years of experience reporting to stakeholders and senior management

Responsibilities

• Manage QA activities for multiple workstreams including Eligibility Enrollment and Case Management and Financial Management
• Ensure adherence to program level testing strategy, QA processes, artifacts and tools
• Lead QA team deliverables and liaise with stakeholders to meet business needs
• Review vendor deliverables to ensure proper system testing and delivery
• Produce status reports for management and project teams on testing efforts
• Manage test environments, accounts and data
• Coordinate blended teams of state and vendor resources

Lead QA Tester

Designated Work Location Pearl St, 4th Floor

Anticipated Duration of the Engagement: 27 months

Rate 85.00 Corp or 75.00 W/2 hourly with benefits.

Sub-vendor can only submit their employees and must be approved vendor.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Tester Level III-
• More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with More than seven (7) years of work experience in quality assurance, managing testing across multiple high-profile projects, with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization.
• More than seven (7) years of work experience reporting and presenting to stakeholders and senior management.

Desired Qualifications

• More than seven (7) years of work experience developing testing products including test plans, test cases, automated test scripts and defect reporting documentation.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience with defect tracking and test planning tools such as Jira, Jira-related plug-ins or HP Application Lifecycle Management/Quality Center.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in java scripting or related programing languages within the context of developing automated test script solutions.
• Two (2) years’ work experience coordinating with, and liaising with, performance testing teams or security testing teams.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience leading and facilitating meetings, workgroups, etc. Including supervising teams of quality analysts.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience with creating reports and dashboards for test metrics using Jira or another tool.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience managing the defect lifecycle including defect creation, monitoring and status reporting as well as retesting defect fixes.

Responsibilities

• Working for the QA Lead, the Tester Level 3 will manage and oversee quality assurance activities for multiple workstreams including Eligibility Enrollment and Case Management (EECM) and Financial Management (FM).
• Manage adherence to the IES Program Level testing strategy, quality assurance processes, artifacts and tools.
• Manage quality assurance team and deliverables.
• Liaison with relevant stakeholders, including subject matter experts, users, executive teams, etc. to ensure that projects meet business needs.
• Oversee adherence to the IES Program Level testing strategy, quality assurance processes, artifacts and tools.
• Review deliverables from vendors to ensure system testing and delivery are in line with business needs, as described in the requirements.
• Produce reports for Management and Project teams regarding status of Testing Efforts.
• Manage test environments, test accounts and test data according to best practices.
• Manage blended teams of State and vendor resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
