Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a senior lab professional to support bioassay testing and equipment maintenance while ensuring compliance, documentation accuracy, and team development. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with clients, and driving improvements in throughput and quality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences with 4+ years of lab experience, strong troubleshooting and documentation skills, and the ability to lead a fast-paced team in a regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences or related field with 4+ years of relevant lab experience (bioassays, cell passages, media/buffer prep).
• Ability to learn new techniques, troubleshoot instruments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with equipment qualification, maintenance, and documentation.
• Proven leadership with a focus on team development, engagement, morale, and retention.

Responsibilities

• Lab Operations: Perform bioassays, cell passages, media/buffer prep, equipment calibrations, and sanitization.
• Documentation & Compliance: Enter and verify data, review qualification protocols and logbook entries, and perform second-person verification.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot instrument-related issues and act as a technical resource for equipment.
• Team Leadership: Coach and develop team members, monitor workflow to meet turnaround times, conduct performance reviews, and manage training and succession planning.
• Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with leadership and clients to implement business directives and drive operational improvements.
