bioMérieux is seeking a QC Lead Analyst (EM) to lead the Environmental Monitoring team, oversee testing of materials and products, and ensure compliant documentation. You will mentor staff, drive investigations, and collaborate across the organization to improve processes and data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in life sciences or equivalent experience, with 4+ years in regulated EM or microbiology, and experience with GMP/GLP systems, LIMS, and validated instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other life science discipline.
• Education substitution: 4 years of additional relevant experience accepted
• 4+ years of professional experience in a regulated Environmental Monitoring or Microbiology laboratory performing GxP testing.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line leadership for the QC Environmental Monitoring team, including scheduling, meetings, and performance accountability.
• Develops and mentors employees to achieve high performance and ongoing growth.
• Oversees routine Environmental Monitoring testing on raw materials, finished products, air, water, surfaces, personnel, and cleaning samples.
• Manages laboratory operations: testing requests, inventory, instrumentation maintenance and calibration.
• Ensures GDP-compliant, thoroughly documented data and strong data integrity.
• Leads or supports high-complexity investigations (OOS, NC, CI, CAPA) and assists audits.
• Recommends SOP revisions and process improvements; supports data trending and LIMS entry.
• Enforces safety, PPE, and maintains a CGPL audit-ready lab environment.
• Drives cross-functional improvements to boost productivity and testing quality.
• Supports departmental goal setting, validation activities, and other duties.
• Performs work in compliance with quality procedures and standards.
