Job summary

PingWind seeks a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer to design and drive our QA strategy and test execution. You will oversee test plans, manage defects, and ensure delivery of high-quality software, with deep Cypress expertise and experience testing in AWS.

You will lead QA initiatives, mentor juniors, and collaborate across teams to implement best practices and robust automated testing within a CI/CD framework using Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in Software QA with at least 2 years in a Senior/Lead role.
• Hands-on Cypress test automation experience; Selenium or Appium is a plus.
• Experience testing apps in AWS; Azure DevOps for CI/CD and tracking.
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-team collaboration.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Test strategy creation, planning, and execution across functional, performance, and security testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end tests with Cypress.
• Test in AWS environments and validate distributed microservices.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
• Track defects and coordinate with development teams for fixes.
• Lead QA initiatives and mentor junior team members.
