Job summary

Ventura Foods seeks a Principal QA Engineer to design and implement our testing automation framework using Python, Playwright, PyTest and Java/TestNG. This hands-on role will elevate enterprise-wide testing strategies, boosting coverage and release readiness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software QA automation, strong API and performance testing skills, and will collaborate across teams, including offshore partners, ensuring quality from development through UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; 5+ years in Software QA automation.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Java-based automation.
• Proven expertise in PyTest, TestNG, Playwright or Selenium.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable test automation suites from scratch using Python or Java.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Automate RESTful API testing with Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Create performance tests with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Coordinate UAT with stakeholders to ensure system readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
