Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development and coding in Python.
• 1+ years of experience in a technical leadership capacity.
• Expert-level knowledge of software and application design, architecture, and system design patterns.
• Deep understanding of SDLC processes with experience shaping them within a team.
• Strong background in SOA, microservices, and containerized applications at scale.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases with performance tuning.
• Experience with REST/WebSocket-based crypto APIs and blockchain SDKs.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of complex features and new products, setting the technical vision for the team
• Collaborate with product owners, team leads, and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical strategies and roadmaps
• Define and own technical specifications, selecting appropriate technologies, workflows, and coding standards
• Present and justify architectural decisions to engineering leadership and the CTO
• Establish and enforce best practices for unit and integration testing across the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development and coding in Python
• 1+ years of experience in a technical leadership capacity
• Expert-level knowledge of software and application design, architecture, and system design patterns, with a strong technical mindset and great attention to detail
• Deep understanding of software quality assurance principles and SDLC processes, with experience shaping them within a team
• Strong background in service-oriented architecture (SOA), designing microservices, and managing containerized applications at scale
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging systems in production environments
• Proven experience building and scaling WebSocket-based solutions
• Strong skills in Kubernetes and IaC tools such as Terraform and Helm
• Expertise in version control and continuous integration using Git and Jenkins, including defining CI/CD strategies
• Solid understanding of web security standards and best practices, with experience embedding security in the development lifecycle
• Deep knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and digital assets
• Extensive hands-on experience integrating with crypto APIs (REST/WebSocket), smart contracts, or blockchain SDKs
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and influence cross-team decisions
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
• Nice to have Knowledge of PHP
• Exposure to DeFi protocols
• Familiarity with Web3 frameworks
• Experience architecting or working with digital custody systems
