Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a full-service restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to resolve guest issues effectively.
• Thorough understanding of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Purple Parrot staff, including servers, bussers, and hosts, ensuring adherence to service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory control, and workstation assignments.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies.
• Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for Purple Parrot staff.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any food quality or preparation issues.
• Monitor and control inventory of supplies, communicating needs to management as required.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Operate point-of-sale system, process payments, and reconcile daily transactions.
• Act as a leader and role model for staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
