ON is seeking a Lead – Purchasing Manager to oversee Owner Furnished Items (OFI) procurement. You will lead complex purchasing processes, manage vendor networks, and strategically navigate international procurement challenges. As the Lead – Purchasing Manager, you will own Owner Furnished Items (OFI) procurement across On’s regional real estate projects, working across cross-functional teams to deliver on-brand, high-quality, and cost-effective spaces. Reporting to the Head of Real Estate Development, you’ll lead complex, end-to-end purchasing processes, challenge existing workflows, and implement scalable, innovative solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and can build strong vendor and internal partnerships that support On’s rapid growth.
Lead end-to-end Owner Furnished Items (OFI) procurement for regional real estate projects, ensuring alignment with On's brand, timelines, and operational standards
Cultivate and manage a robust vendor network, and negotiate and execute contracts with legal and internal procurement, ensuring seamless OFI supply across regional projects
Strategically manage international OFI procurement, expertly navigating tariffs, logistics, import compliance, and raw material costing to optimize project delivery and costs
Act as a key cross-functional partner, collaborating with design, construction, project management, and procurement teams to proactively anticipate challenges and balance competing priorities
Champion process improvements and implement innovative tools for procurement efficiency, transparency, and scalability, driving effective project documentation, budgeting, and forecasting
Ensure all OFI selections align with On’s sustainability values, design intent, and functional requirements for diverse retail and office environments
Contribute to On’s broader procurement strategy by sharing market insights and best practices, including supporting Distributor Partner (DMS/FMS) expansion through approved vendor network development
6+ years of experience in OFI management, procurement, or purchasing, focused in design-led environments within retail, hotel, or restaurant spaces
Strong track record leading procurement processes across international supply chains and coordinating multiple stakeholders, able to discern and ensure compliance
Demonstrated understanding of tariffs, logistics, and international import requirements
Experience with raw material costing and an understanding of commodity market dynamics
Experience supporting distributor partner (DMS/FMS) initiatives, particularly in setting up approved vendors for their use is preferred
Proven experience in the creation and management of vendor networks, contracts, and negotiations with a focus on balancing cost, quality, and timelines

Typical cash compensation range for this position inclusive of base + bonus: $100,000-$124,000. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, skill set, and location.
