Tender Touch Rehab Services in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Lead Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. You’ll provide PT treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT and help coordinate care with the team.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to apply.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Associate degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Identify appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all physician orders are obtained and up to date.
• Act as a leader/mentor in the discipline and cover rehab supervisor duties when needed.
