Tender Touch Rehab Services in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Lead Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in a full-time role. This position offers a stable schedule and the chance to lead clinical initiatives in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.

You will provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, participate in patient selection and referrals, and mentor other staff while maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Current license as PTA in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist in identifying suitable patients for therapy and coordinate with PT for evaluation/referral.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure quality outcomes and regulatory compliant documentation.
• Maintain patient documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Obtain and update all required physician orders.
• Act as a leader/mentor and, in the supervisor's absence, assume rehab duties.
