Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of accounting practices for non-profit organizations.
• Understanding of governmental regulations and reporting requirements.
• Ability to review transactions for accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee provider payment processing for accuracy and timeliness.
• Review payments, resolve discrepancies, and handle adjustments.
• Prepare correspondence for overpayments and payment exceptions.
• Approve deductions and ensure proper reporting of 1099s.
• Monitor internal controls and propose process improvements.
• Supervise staff, assign work, train, and evaluate performance.
• Prepare payment statistics and ad hoc analyses for management.
• Support testing and implementation of payment systems.
• Coordinate audits and respond to inquiries with documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet goals.
