Job summary

Medix Biochemica USA, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician Level II to support the Manufacturing team. You will perform daily production duties, prepare protein extracts, buffers, and maintain equipment following SOPs and quality procedures.

You will lift equipment, train Level I Technicians, plan procedures, order supplies, and assist the Supervisor or Manager to ensure efficient, compliant production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience on the job at Medix Biochemica USA, Inc. or equivalent experience with protein purification.
• Industrial chemical processing and safety training or experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares initial protein extracts following standard operating and quality procedures.
• Lifts and carries required production equipment and materials throughout work areas.
• Prepares buffers following standard operating and quality procedures.
• Cleans and maintains equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Takes on added responsibility for other tasks, including training Level I Technicians, planning and executing procedures, ordering needed supplies, and leading teams on preps as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
