Sanofi is seeking a Protein ML Senior Principal Data Scientist in Waltham, MA to design and deploy advanced machine learning models predicting protein properties for vaccines. You will work at the interface of computational and experimental teams, translating insights into vaccine candidates and guiding model development with state-of-the-art protein language models.

You will collaborate with antigen design and bench lab groups, mentoring colleagues and communicating findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Biophysics, or related field.
• 2+ years of industry or academic experience.
• Strong ability to communicate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop state-of-the-art protein property prediction models focusing on immunogenicity, stability, and manufacturability.
• Leverage protein representations to accelerate vaccine candidate design.
• Analyze relationships between sequences, structures, and data to derive generalizable representations.
• Collaborate with structural biology and bench labs to guide modeling strategy and improve models.
