You will review designs, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE/NERC standards, driving reliability and safety across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional engineering license preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of technical experience in protection engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Guide engineering design, estimating, and analysis of protection systems for NYSEG/AVANGRID projects.
• Develop and coordinate system protection platform; integration, settings, networking, and equipment specs.
• Oversee studies to evaluate protection system performance and operational issues for reliability and efficiency.
• Provide expertise and guide fault analysis reports with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with project team to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
