Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems emphasis.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in electric utility protection engineering.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with IEC 61850 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Protection & Controls Engineering team activities.
• Develop engineering designs and relay settings per company standards.
• Provide technical support to operating areas during normal and emergency situations.
• Coordinate with System Planning and Interconnections groups for design guidance.
• Lead project management and asset renewal decisions.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
