Job summary

Stellantis Auburn, AL seeks an Underbody Process Engineering Standards Specialist—Machining to develop and maintain propulsion machining standards and process sheets across North America. You will translate product requirements into machining concepts, datum strategies, tooling specs, and process flows, with a focus on cost estimates and handoffs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 0
  • 10+ years in automotive manufacturing or propulsion machining.
  • Experience developing machining process specifications, standards, and cost estimates.
  • Experience leading machining process development, validation, and equipment qualification.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; executive communication ability.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain propulsion machining process standards and sheets.
  • Translate product requirements into machining concepts, datum strategies, and tooling specs.
  • Lead validation, prototype trials, and continuous improvement for engine, transmission, e-Drive, and e-Motor components.
  • Collaborate with global Machining teams to support NA requirements.
  • Support handoff to Industrial Strategy and cost estimation methods.
