Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Underbody Process Engineering Standards Specialist-Machining to develop and maintain propulsion machining standards across North America. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of automotive manufacturing or propulsion machining experience.
• Experience developing machining process specs, standards, sheets, and cost estimates.
• Experience leading machining process development, validation, and launch support.
• Experience supporting new product introductions from definition through RFQ, sourcing, commissioning, launch, and handoff.
• Proficient Excel and PowerPoint; strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, deploy, and maintain machining process standards and specifications for propulsion systems machining in North America.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Industrial Strategy, Quality, plant engineering, and suppliers.
• Translate product requirements into machining concepts, process flows, and design-to-manufacturing rules.
• Lead advanced machining process development, prototype trials, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Develop cost estimates and standard estimating methods for near-term machining processes.
• Coordinate handoff of process costing to Industrial Strategy and support PFMEA, process capability, and workshops.
