Job summary

E Tech Group, headquartered in the United States, seeks an Application Engineer (Proposal Manager) to drive Mission Critical Team proposals from bid review to award handoff. You will align scope, estimates, schedules, and customer requirements while coordinating with Business Development, Finance, Legal, and leadership to ensure clear ownership of technical scope and pricing.

You will set input owners, due dates, milestones, and create customer-ready proposals using approved templates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of Industrial Automation experience in design, controls, programming, and electrical engineering
• Extensive experience with estimating and proposal management standards
• Proficiency in MS Excel; MS Project a plus
• Understanding of ERP/Project Costing Systems and parametric estimation tools
• Experience with customer plans, specs, RFP/RFQ docs; strong written/verbal communication
• Collaborative, team-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple proposals by setting input owners, due dates, milestones, and submission plans
• Review bid documents, RFQ/Proposal addenda, and confirm deliverables and deadlines
• Coordinate estimates, scope, and commercial inputs with leadership before submission
• Assemble proposal pricing with approved estimates and owners
• Create customer-ready proposals using templates and accurate scope/pricing details
• Coordinate material and subcontractor quote needs with Procurement
• Maintain proposal status, revision control, and content libraries
• Support submissions, clarifications, and award handoffs with Business Development
