Job summary

Verus-Aerospace in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Proposal Cost Estimator to develop, plan and schedule proposals, compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements in line with RFP specifications.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years' experience, a high school diploma (GED) or college degree preference, and familiarity with Enovia, 3D PDF and MS Excel. Knowledge of aerospace fabrication processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in cost/proposal analysis or related field.
• Ability to read customer specs, drawings, and 3D models.
• Aerospace fabrication knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimates labor and material costs for manufacturing and engineering proposals.
• Analyze specifications and calculate production costs using pricing data.
• Coordinate cost data and participate in fact-finding and pricing reviews.
• Follow policies, procedures, and work rules; support contract negotiations.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.
