Job summary

Jobot seeks a Proposal Engineer for aerospace composites bids and estimating in White Salmon, WA. You will own the full lifecycle of bids from RFQ analysis to proposal generation, cost estimation, and win/loss follow-up, contributing to strategic program wins.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, experience in cost estimating and proposals, and proficiency with CAD tools. This onsite position features a 4-day workweek, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities with a tier1

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
Associate through senior levels considered.
Experience with cost-estimating, proposals, or manufacturing-quoting.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or Creo.

Responsibilities

Turn customer RFQs into accurate bids for aerospace and advanced-composite components.
Review and analyze RFQs, drawings, specifications, and project docs to understand requirements.
Build cost and material estimates and maintain data integrity in estimating tools.
Develop written proposals, response letters, and bid packages with clarity and technical accuracy.
Present estimates to internal stakeholders and support pricing reviews and decisions.
Track proposal status from submission through decision and capture feedback for improvement.
