Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services seeks a Technical Field Manager for our Property Claims department. The role leads a team of 5–7 field property and technical claim professionals in handling first-party commercial property claims, focusing on coaching, technical development, and improving claim outcomes.

Expert knowledge of coverage, causation, investigation, and evaluation of building and business personal property damages is required, with licensing across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of property coverage, liability and insurance industry basics.
• Experience using Xactimate to prepare property damage estimates.
• Strong analytical and people leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees handling of all aspects of property claims, including reserving, documentation, and resolution.
• Provides coaching and staff development for 5-7 field claim professionals.
• Ensures claims align with policies and department guidelines.
• Manages field vendors and supervises claim records and reporting.
