You will guide staff, ensure adherence to US GAAP and SOX, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to generate accurate financial insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate or public accounting experience, preferably in real estate, healthcare, or REIT industries.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting processes in designated areas, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and company policies and internal controls.
• Lead process documentation and identify automation opportunities.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights on financial results and support business decisions.
• Prepare and review schedules for external reporting and audits.
