Job summary

Pennoni in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Project Surveyor to manage land surveying projects full-time from our Princeton office. This role reports to the Division Manager and focuses on planning and coordinating a variety of survey projects.

The ideal candidate pursues licensure or already licensed and is eager to grow into leadership roles within the department, applying modern survey methods and technology to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Surveying or Geomatics is required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional land surveying experience.
• Candidate should be on track to obtain a Surveying License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision/management of survey projects to ensure profitability, safety, quality, and operations.
• Contribute to office-based processing and production efforts.
• Prepare estimates of survey needs and projects.
• Conduct boundary, ALTA/NSPS, existing conditions, wetlands and topographic surveys.
• Prepare plans and construction layout.
• Schedule field crews to meet project deadlines.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Additional tasks as needed.
