Job summary

Walbec Group seeks a Construction Survey Leader to perform land surveying on Wisconsin projects under the Engineering Manager. You will prepare surveys, manage budgets, and mentor the survey team while operating GNSS and robotic total stations on site.

Responsibilities include staking with AutoCAD Civil3D and Trimble Business Center, and leading machine control model development and training efforts. On-site role in Wisconsin with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work-related surveying experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring abilities.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Professional Land Surveyor License is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction survey plans and staking setups.
• Manage machine control proposals, scope, budget and staffing.
• Complete monthly financial reporting for survey tasks.
• Monitor production rates and performance data for survey tasks.
• Oversee and develop survey team members.
• Operate GNSS and Robotic Total Station equipment.
• Lead 3D machine control model development standards and reviews.
• Train staff on construction survey best practices.
