Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on a DSA/Public Works project.
• OSHA 30-hour safety certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proficiency with CPM scheduling and field reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction plan for the successful execution of the work, coordinating means, methods, manpower, equipment and materials.
• Establish and enforce a comprehensive project safety program in line with company policy and applicable codes.
• Negotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project occupancy milestones.
• Prepare the original CPM Project Schedule and coordinate monthly updates with subcontractors.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Prepare daily field status reports in Procore.
• Review the Procurement Schedule and identify items that could delay the project; research alternatives for PM approval.
• Assist in the review of all subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and cost-control budget adjustments.
• Coordinate documentation of design conflicts and clarifications with appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate and perform timely completion of punch lists and schedule turnover of systems to the owner.
