Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Project Specialist to lead cross-functional teams on Engineered-to-Order progressing cavity pump projects from contract through delivery and site testing.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in heavy industrial PM, with strong experience in rotating machinery or complex fluid systems, and proficiency in SAP, MS Project, or JIRA. This is a site-based role in Enon, OH with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent technical manufacturing discipline.
• 2+ years of active project management experience in heavy industrial environments, focused on rotating machinery or complex fluid systems.
• Advanced proficiency deploying enterprise tracking platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Project, or JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Direct all execution stages for custom progressing cavity pump assemblies from handover through fabrication, testing, and delivery.
• Audit engineered BOMs, system schematics, and material selections against client standards.
• Coordinate FAT, hydrostatic, performance, NPSH testing, and material traceability audits.
• Manage dynamic cost architectures, track scope changes, and preserve project margins.
• Mitigate scheduling gaps, supplier lead-times, and mechanical conflicts through proactive forecasting.
