Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Project Manager in the United States to oversee equipment projects from start to finish. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule and budget, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in estimating/engineering/construction management, a technical degree, and strong cost-control, collaboration, and communication skills. Travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology or business management with 3–5 years in estimating, engineering or construction management.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and HVAC/controls knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans and specifications.
• Proficient with computer estimating and word processing software.

Responsabilités

• Reviews construction plans to meet customer requirements and discusses equipment solutions with Account Managers, Suppliers and customers.
• Coordinates selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls and services for each project.
• Prepares detailed cost estimates and resolves deviations from scope with the team.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities and risks, negotiates with vendors and subcontractors.
• Maintains forecasted cost at completion and analyzes schedules, dependencies, and milestones.
• Generates and revises project schedules, tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
• Prepares material and vendor orders, records receipts, and approves payments.
• Places equipment orders and issues purchase orders; creates work orders for startups.
• Manages project cash flow: progress billing, collections support, and resources.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through issue investigation and corrective actions.
• Ensures successful warranty transition to the service process.
