Job summary

  • Communicate solutions to Production, Procurement, Engineering and Quality teams.
  • Manage engineering changes according to the change process.

Your tasks

As a Lead Project Mechanical Engineer (TPM-M), you will be a viable member of a team focused on creating efficient design plans for building state-of-the-art passenger trains, managing complex interfaces of various systems, and work with international design team. If you have experience in any of the following systems, this is the career for you:

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling of the mechanical design on international projects of our modular vehicle families
  • Implementation of the customer requirement specifications in compliance with national standards and regulations
  • Ownership of all mechanical technical topics on the Project Team
  • Responsibility for concepts, technical specifications, production documentation, test planning and type tests
  • Planning and management of internal engineering activities including system interfaces and approval planning
  • Creation of engineering documents
  • Communication and acceptance with customers and authorities as well as other external bodies
  • Creation and communication of technical solutions to Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality Teams
  • Implementation of necessary engineering changes according to the established change process
Your profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent training
  • 3–5 experience in the field of rail vehicle, defense, aerospace, or similar
  • Experience in working in challenging projects in an international environment
  • Team player with high a degree of communication skills, sense of responsibility, and assertiveness

  • Structured, goal-oriented, dynamic, and loyal personality
  • Excellent technical writing skills
