Job summary

Stadler US is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery for the system integration of complex technical projects. You will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, high-quality outcomes aligned with strategic goals.

Requirements include a engineering degree and 5+ years in rail vehicle/defense/aerospace/automotive sectors, with strong leadership and English fluency; German is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery for system integration of complex technical projects.
  • Bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.
  • Prepare technical specifications, production documents, test plans, and training materials.
  • Manage project team including PMs and lead engineers across disciplines.
  • Coordinate customer communication and support with Commercial PM.

As aTechnical Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery for the system integration of complex technical projects. You will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, compliant, with high quality that aligns with our strategic goals.

Key Activities
  • On time execution, planning and management of all internal engineering activities of our challenging international projects
  • Implementation of the Customer requirements specification in compliance with industry standards, regulations and national requirements
  • Responsible for the conceptualization as well as preparation of technical specifications, production documents, test plans, type tests and documentation & training documents.
  • Management of the project team, which consists of Project Managers Engineering and Lead Project Engineers for various disciplines.
  • Lead in Customer support and communication in close collaboration with the Commercial Project Manager
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent training
  • PMP preferred
  • Training in business administration preferred
  • 5+ years experience in the field of rail vehicle, defense, aerospace, automotive or equivalent
  • Experience in leading challenging projects in an international environment
  • Team player with excellent social skills, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Structured, goal-oriented, dynamic and loyal personality
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Business fluent in English (required) and German (preferred at least B1 level)
