Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager to lead wastewater and water treatment facility projects in Florida, overseeing the full lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout, with focus on budgets, schedules, and risk management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater projects, a BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and the ability to coordinate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater construction.
• Experience managing treatment plant, pump station, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of municipal contracting and public infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and change order negotiations.
• Monitor project financial performance including cost forecasting and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and field teams.
