Job summary

Wesco seeks a highly organized Project Manager III to lead complex warehouse and inventory management projects for utility and data-center markets. You will own scope, cost, and schedule while coordinating internal staff and external vendors to deliver on-time results.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, communicating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that align with safety, quality, delivery and cost goals. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years required, 7 years preferred directing work in large-scale project management.
• Business and management principles, strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Experience managing people and processes to achieve objectives.
• Ability to build relationships across functions to support mutual objectives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for workflow improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and prioritize tasks.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages large and complex project development from start to finish.
• Defines scope, goals and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develops full-scale project plans and communications documents.
• Communicates expectations to team and stakeholders.
• Estimates resources and staffing; liaises with stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Drafts and submits budget proposals; negotiates staffing with other departments.
• Sets and manages project timelines; tracks milestones and deliverables.
• Prepares progress reports and presentations; manages scope changes and contingency plans.
