Job summary

TP Mechanical in Lexington, Kentucky is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the profitability of multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in plumbing, HVAC installation, and project management, along with excellent communication abilities.

You will be responsible for coordinating manpower, monitoring project status, and ensuring timely billing and change orders. A minimum of 5 years of commercial plumbing experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years commercial plumbing/mechanical experience.
• 1 year of prior project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall profitability of projects.
• Conducts regular job cost reviews to reflect project profitability.
• Communicates and troubleshoots with project superintendents and contractors.
• Coordinates manpower and equipment for each job.
• Oversee the buyout process and job-closeouts.
• Conducts weekly job-site visits and meetings.
• Generates project manager reports and attends project meetings.
• Tracks submittals, generates purchase orders, negotiates subcontracts.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation

Knowledge of general HVAC / Sheetmetal installation

Good math ability

Good basic computer skills

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
