Job summary

Stabbert Marine & Industrial in Anacortes is seeking a Project Manager to lead the single, internal build of a semi-submersible barge from kickoff to delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership in an active shipyard and full accountability for schedule, cost, and quality.

You will baseline the project using Primavera P6, apply earned value metrics (SPI/CPI), manage changes, and coordinate engineering, procurement, and production to meet targets.

Qualifications

• PM with 5+ years in shipbuilding or heavy industrial construction.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and EV metrics required.
• Degree in engineering preferred; PMP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall execution of the semi-submersible barge newbuild from kickoff through delivery.
• Baseline and maintain the integrated schedule in Primavera P6 with WBS and logic.
• Build and manage the project budget, tracking costs vs. baseline daily.
• Use EV metrics (SPI/CPI) to forecast EAC and drive corrective action.
• Coordinate engineering, planning, procurement, and production to support build sequence.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress and cost reports for leadership.
