Job summary

Stabbert Marine & Industrial seeks a Project Manager to own the single internal build of a semi-submersible barge at the Anacortes shipyard, from kickoff to delivery, with tight cost and schedule discipline. You will develop Primavera P6 baseline, manage budget, apply EV metrics (SPI/CPI), coordinate engineering, procurement, and production, and report to leadership daily.

The role requires 5+ years of shipbuilding PM experience, a degree in engineering or related field, and PMP a plus; outdoor

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project management experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or heavy industrial construction.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Experience using SPI and CPI to budget, schedule, and track project costs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall execution of the semi-submersible barge newbuild from kickoff to delivery.
• Baseline and maintain the integrated project schedule in Primavera P6 with WBS, critical path, and resource loading.
• Build and manage the project budget, tracking costs against the baseline daily.
• Use earned value management to forecast EAC and drive corrective action.
• Coordinate engineering, planning, procurement, and production to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress, cost, and schedule reports for leadership.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation or recovery plans.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor scopes and change orders.
