Job summary

KDG Construction Consulting seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex public infrastructure and facility improvement projects as the owner's representative. Qualifications

• Five years of progressive project management experience on municipal infrastructure, public agency, or facility projects.
• Five years of concurrent construction management or field construction experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or CCM certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience managing projects through planning, design, environmental review, permitting, construction, and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital improvement projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
• Serve as primary contact between clients, consultants, contractors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate planning and development from initiation through completion.
• Review design documents, drawings, specs, and bid packages.
• Monitor progress for scope, schedule, budget, and quality compliance.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Coordinate environmental reviews, permitting, and approvals including CEQA/NEPA.
• Facilitate meetings and communicate status to leadership.
• Negotiate and administer construction change orders while controlling budget & contract compliance.
