Job summary

RK&K is looking for a construction Project Manager to support multiple Small Capital projects in the Washington DC area. You will oversee pre-construction, construction, and closeout, with emphasis on building/facility projects and strong coordination with owners, designers, and contractors.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in municipal, public industrial, or commercial facilities, with CCM/PMP/PE preferred.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience managing large/medium building construction projects for municipal, public industrial or commercial facilities.
Experience managing projects for Police stations, Fire Stations, and/or Public School Systems.
CCM, PMP, or PE credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead design and pre-construction meetings to confirm scope, schedule and budget.
Monitor schedules and review design at each phase for compliance with program.
Review pricing, budgets, and constructability with stakeholders.
Conduct site visits, attend weekly jobsite meetings, and coordinate with vendors.
Assist owner with procurement of specialty vendors and coordinate with internal partners.
