Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead manufacturing or construction projects in Michigan. This role acts as the primary contact for customers and coordinates with engineering, production, and sales to deliver turnkey projects.

You will develop schedules and budgets, manage subcontractor quotes, and ensure bids are accurate and submitted on time. Strong communication and PM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or PM required.
• Six+ years of PM experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience with multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on fabrication process oversight.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems; experience with Global Shop Solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers as primary contact.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete turnkey projects with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets; address delays or issues.
• Request, evaluate, and select subcontractor quotes and manage cost reviews.
• Review bid documents and help ensure accurate quotes and on-time submissions.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for opportunities and changes.
• Manage project scope changes, risks, and contingency plans.
• Ensure products meet customer specs and delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present project updates, proposals, and progress reports.
• Read and interpret blueprints and contract drawings for fabrication.
