Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in copper, fiber (OSP, ISP), pathways, wireless, and telecommunication rooms design & installation.
• BICSI RCDD is preferred.
• A college degree, or extensive field knowledge is preferred.
• Assistant project management experience preferred.
• High level of experience related to structured cabling installations.
• A good understanding of how to read architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings is required.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Familiar with computer-based estimating for an item by item estimating.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must understand billing and collections.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company, client, and project policies/procedures.
• Generate estimates and prepare project plans with timeframes, budgets, and staffing.
• Direct on-site supervision to ensure design, budget, and schedule compliance; align with client expectations.
• Coordinate activities of company personnel and subcontractors on assigned projects.
• Generate billings and lead project collections.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to assess progress and resource needs.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials with vendors.
• Provide feedback and reports to the business unit leader.
• Manage project reviews with emphasis on financial forecasting.
• Mentor subordinates and promote professional development.
• Continuously update knowledge to boost team productivity.
• Ensure site safety and compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Support company initiatives and activities.
