Job summary

W.W. Clyde and Co. in Colorado seeks a Project Manager to provide overall administrative and technical direction for one large, complex project, with focus on earthwork and utility installation. You will lead field teams, coordinate with regional leaders, and manage scope and schedule to meet budget.

The role demands strong communication, planning, and leadership, plus proven ability to drive safety, deliverables, and client satisfaction on multi-faceted projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant, progressive construction project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management including documentation, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, dispute resolution, personnel management.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Understanding of corporate and industry practices and standards.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values.
• Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional department heads, subordinate project managers, construction managers, etc.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with client and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities.
• Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
• Represent the company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the Client.
• Supervise the work of Project Managers (I and II) when assigned.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
• Must be able to work on project site all working days.
