Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive planning, integration and execution of a substantial AP1000 engineering scope, reporting to the Director - Project & Portfolio Planning. This hybrid role can be based at Cranberry Woods, PA or Rock Hill, SC.

You will lead scope, schedule, cost and resources across cross-functional teams, maintain credible forecasts with Project Controls, and mentor other project managers or workstream leads as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated execution of engineering scope, including scope, schedule, cost, resources, risk, priorities, interfaces and deliverable commitments.
• Maintain sequenced work packages with clear ownership, milestones, logic and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure assigned scope is represented in the Integrated Engineering Schedule and aligned with the technical execution plan.
• Partner with Project Controls to maintain credible forecasts, explain variance and lead corrective action.
• Coordinate Functional Engineering, Lead Engineers, working organizations and assigned Project Managers or product leads.
• Identify new constraints and develop recovery plans when technical, resource, schedule or cost challenges threaten commitments.
• Support prioritization using technical need, schedule float, milestone impact, resource availability and dependencies.
• Provide concise performance, risk and decision visibility to the Program Manager and leadership.
• Support standardization, lessons learned and continuous improvement across Project Afterburner.
