Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Pittsburgh Area Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing to lead field activities, supervise staff, and manage client relationships in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The role involves proposal development, contract reviews, budget oversight, invoicing and project closeout, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and CST experience; preferred Civil Engineering or Project Management background with 3+ years of PM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Civil Engineering or project management preferred.
• Experience in Construction Materials Testing required or preferred.
• Ability to lead, supervise field staff and manage client relationships.
• Willing to work off shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand Construction Materials Testing business.
• Conduct and attend project meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Review project setup and prepare proposals for internal and external review.
• Complete contract review and negotiation.
• Monitor project budget and initiate change orders.
• Review, prepare and submit invoices.
• Perform project close out duties.
• Supervise field personnel.
• Assist with lab, field and administrative duties as needed.
