Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing to oversee projects, coordinate with clients, and ensure successful delivery from planning to closeout. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage budgets and personnel.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with relevant testing experience and is prepared to work some off-shift hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Some experience in Construction Materials Testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others.
• Willingness to work off shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend and lead project meetings, maintain client relationships, and pursue new opportunities.
• Review project setup and prepare proposals for internal/external review.
• Manage contracts, budgets, and initiate change orders.
• Review, prepare and submit invoices.
• Supervise field personnel and assist with lab/field duties as needed.
