Estimating is not the primary role in this position but you will oversee all operations in the projects you are assigned.

Responsibilities

As the Lead Project Manager - Commercial Roofing, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing multiple commercial and multifamily roofing projects from inception to completion.
• Providing accurate and competitive project estimates and bids.
• Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Overseeing all stages of the roofing construction process, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building regulations.
• Identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks and issues that could impact project deliverables.
• Coordinating and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Regularly monitoring and reporting on project progress to senior management.
• Implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and quality of work.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Lead Project Manager - Commercial Roofing role, you will need the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the commercial roofing industry.
• Proven experience in managing multiple commercial and multifamily roofing projects.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of roofing construction, including the ability to provide accurate estimates.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage risks and issues.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP), would be an advantage.
