Job summary

Chart Industries Beasley, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of air cooled heat exchanger projects, guiding cross-functional teams from concept through installation and commissioning. You will manage scope, schedule and budget while coordinating with engineering, procurement and production to meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of PM experience in manufacturing, with strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
• PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma is a plus
• 5 years project management experience, preference for Air Cooled Heat Exchangers engineering/fabrication
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong scheduling, resource planning and prioritization abilities
• Clear communication with internal teams, clients and stakeholders
• Familiarity with PMP methodologies or frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Knowledge of Air Cooled Heat Exchanger industry standards and codes
• Proficiency in project management tools; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Microsoft Project
• Analytics and dashboard experience; Power BI is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle for Air Cooled Heat Exchanger manufacturing projects
• Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and production, to ensure seamless project execution
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations, maintaining clear communication throughout the project
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, implementing proactive measures to ensure project success
• Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, providing regular updates on milestones, timelines, and budgetary status
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, motivating and supporting team members to achieve project goals
• Work with Executive leadership and key Stakeholders to ensure project ideation and planning is understood and supported at the Business level
