Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for food manufacturing to lead large-scale technical projects. You will oversee a team of engineers, manage design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions, and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and plant personnel.

Responsibilities include cost estimates, feasibility studies, design validation, and contract administration. A Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years of experience and 2+ years in leadership are required; travel up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience including team development.
• Food manufacturing industry experience required.
• Strong project management and contract administration skills.
• Knowledge of national codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work across locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs, material specs, and cost estimates.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic analysis.
• Ensure designs meet codes and validate field work.
• Review engineering submissions for accuracy.
• Direct vendors and contractors to manage execution.
• Coordinate schedules with plant personnel and vendors.
• Prepare and submit status reports to management.
• Lead cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
• Define scope of work and evaluate proposals.
• Manage contract administration and bid reviews.
