Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to drive APU development projects and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will oversee scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

You'll report to the Sr. Program Engineering Manager and operate on a hybrid basis from Phoenix, AZ, delivering projects on time, within budget, and with rigorous attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles.
• Proven track record of delivering engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with expertise in risk management and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning.

As an auxiliary power unit (APU) Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, foster collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination.

You will report directly to our Sr. Program Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Gas turbine engine development, testing and analysis experience
• Gas turbine engine aircraft installation development, testing and analysis experience
• Model based system engineering experience including requirements management in DOORS Next
