Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a Staff Project Management – Lead Project Engr to support C2BMC program planning and execution on-site. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, rigorous project control, and leadership across Sustainment and Development lifecycles.

The position requires a DoD Top Secret clearance, advanced degree depending on years of experience, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance is required at application.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years experience; or Master’s with 10; or PhD with 8.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance management.
• Knowledge of Planning, Scheduling, Project Management, and EVMS.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs.
• Develop TO60 objectives, monitor status, and coordinate schedule/resource issues.
• Serve as liaison between Solution Chief/Program Manager and Project Engineer team.
• Implement standardized processes and products for project management.
• Enable project engineers in internal and external working groups.
• Support program meetings and develop status briefings.
• Lead liaison between engineering team and customer counterparts.
• Support increment planning and Jira requirement tracking.
